This session is about how we can apply the metaphysics of our New Thought teaching, and the Principle that the Universe always says “yes”, to the operation and functioning of our communities.
The impact is subtle yet powerful. We have case studies of Board meetings, where we’d use Robert’s Rules of Order. The standard is to end by asking for Yes votes, and then No votes. We tweaked a bit to end with Yes, and the shift was dramatic. The reasons are psychological and spiritual, two of the three boards using the changed process are much more harmonious than the one that doesn’t.
