We are a positive, inclusive, and fun loving congregation of retirees in Sahuarita, in the Arizona Sonoran Desert south of Tucson. We’re seeking a relationship oriented spiritual leader with a warm sense of humor who can teach and inspire, support pastoral care and our prayer chaplain program, and provide steady administrative guidance. We are a fiscally sound community: we thrived during Covid and paid off our mortgage.

Sonoran Desert beauty works on people quietly, like a slow moving blessing, and it attracts many artists to our Sahuarita and Green Valley communities. Visitors to Unity in the Valley often stay because they love our professional musicians and consistently engaging sermons. 
 

With about 80 people attending services, our well established groups and classes nurture spiritual growth and deepen our connections. Members regularly offer workshops in the arts, health, and self care that attract local participants, and we proudly support our community food bank. We also love to celebrate—our lively Christmas party, complete with dancing, and our frequent potlucks, are always popular.
