Situated between the Banana and Indian River lagoons along Florida’s Space Coast, Merritt Island is a dynamic community, minutes from Cocoa Beach and an hour or so from Orlando.

 

Founded in 1991, Unity of Merritt Island (UMI) is an inclusive, diverse, community-based church that seeks a passionate, ordained Unity Minister, to lead our growing congregation. 

 

We desire a leader who embodies Unity principles in all aspects of life, values prayer and is eager to share these principles with others. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, enthusiastic, and will have a vision for the church’s future, working with the Board of Directors and administrative staff to achieve this vision. He or she will express their dedication to helping members grow spiritually by teaching and supporting the congregation via Sunday talks, classes, and workshops, as well as acting as a counselor.  The candidate we seek to lead us will foster leadership amongst the congregation and help us to expand our ministry. 

 

The congregants of UMI are very much looking forward to welcoming a new minister whose core values align with ours!
