We are a small Unity congregation located in South Lake Tahoe, CA that has been around since 1997 seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, spiritually grounded individual to join our community as a part-time Unity Minister. Our membership dipped after the pandemic, and we are looking for someone who is excited to help us grow again and contribute to a dynamic, supportive, and evolving spiritual environment.

 

We have been using guest speakers for the past 2 years and are looking for a Part-time Minister/ Spiritual Leader who can:
- Prepare and deliver two meaningful, engaging sermons per month, drawing from Unity principles and teachings. 
- Inspire and uplift the congregation through spiritual messages that resonate with all ages, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. 
- Lead and facilitate a spiritual study session(s) that encourage personal growth and deepen understanding of Unity teachings. 
- Encourage and support the congregation’s involvement in community service projects and outreach programs.

 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Unity teachings and a genuine desire to help others grow spiritually. They should be an effective communicator who is comfortable in both formal and informal settings. We are looking for someone who is grounded, compassionate, and enthusiastic about being an active, visible leader within our congregation and the surrounding community. Proficiency with online web tools, research, and social media is helpful, but not required.

 

Prefer residency in the South Lake Tahoe area or nearby or willingness to relocate.

 

As the congregation grows, it is possible that the salary and job responsibilities could grow with it into a full-time position.
